BACK TO BASICS

Dear readers. Acceptance of good deeds by Almighty Allah depends upon 2 basic factors. The first one is that the person should hold correct Islamic beliefs in addition to bearing witness that there is no God worthy of worship but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad  the Beloved of Allah  is His Servant and Messenger. The second factor is that only those deeds are considered to be good which are defined as good by Allah  Himself in the Holy Quran and by His Beloved Muhammad . It is therefore crucial that all Muslims are well groomed in the knowledge of correct Islamic beliefs and hold these beliefs firmly in their hearts. This will protect us from being misled by the various sects prevalent in the USA and other countries in the world on the one hand and allow us to receive the Eternal blessings of acceptance of our Deeds by Almighty Allah, on the other hand.

Beliefs Concerning The Essence and Attributes of Allah, Jalla Jalaalahu.

  • There is no deity but Allah. He has no partners, neither in Essence, in Attributes, in Deeds, in Commandments nor in Names. His Existence is Real and Essential. He is truly Eternal, He was always there and He will always be there. He is the ONLY one worthy of being worshipped.
  • He is absolutely independent of needs. All His creation depends upon Him.
  • Comprehension of His Essence through the senses or intelligence is impossible. Whatever is comprehended by intelligence is circumscribed by it and His Essence cannot be circumscribed. However from His actions a collective Ma’rifah (Gnosis) of His Attributes and through His Attributes, the Ma’rifah of His Essence can be received as a gift from Him.
  • Just as His Essence is Eternal so are His Attributes Eternal.
  • Except for His Essence and Attributes, EVERYTHING else is His creation.
  • Neither is He begotten, nor does He beget. Neither has He any wife (Nauzubillah)
  • He is  That is, He Himself is alive and every other life is in His hands. Whosoever He wants to and whenever He wants to He can and does bring to life and give them death whenever He wants to.
  • All Perfection and Goodness in Absolute terms is His. He is free from all defects and imperfections.
  • Life, Power, Hearing, Seeing, Speech, Knowledge, Determination are His Essential Attributes. His seeing, hearing, and speech is not through Eyes, Ears and Tongue, because these are a part of the body and He is free from body, shape and form. He hears the lowest of the low sound and sees what is not even visible through a microscope. His seeing and hearing is not dependent upon the object: He sees everything which exists and hears everything which exists.
  • His speech, like His other Attributes is also Eternal and not His creation.
  • His speech is free from voice or sound. The Holy Quran that we recite with our tongues and write in form of scriptures is His Eternal speech without voice our sound. Our voices which recite (the Quran) are a creation, our writing ability (of the Quran) is a creation. What we recite is Eternal and what we write is Eternal and what we hear (of the Quran) is Eternal. Our ability to memorize (the Quran) is a creation and what we memorize (of the Quran) is Eternal.
  • His Knowledge surrounds His every creation in totality, individually, as well as all the ingredients of the whole. There is no limit to His Knowledge. He has full knowledge of all our thoughts including the most secret ones.
  • He is indeed the Creator of everything that exist seen by us or unseen by us.
  • He is the Real Provider. Angels etc. are His agents and means He uses.
  • Every good and evil He has destined according to His own Eternal Knowledge. It is not that He has written and that is how we have to do it. It is that what we were or are going to do, that is what He has written by His All Encompassing Knowledge. In other words His Knowledge encompasses the before, the present and the future.
  • It is highly inappropriate to perform an evil deed and attribute it to destiny or The Will of Allah . We have been commanded to attribute every good deed we perform to Allah the Merciful and to hold oneself responsible for every evil deed we perform.
  • He is The Master The All Powerful, He does whatever, whenever in any manner He wills. None has any power over Him. Nor can any one stop Him when He wills. He neither doses nor sleeps. He watches over His Universe, neither tires nor gets bored. He is more loving than parents. His Mercy assuages broken hearts. He is Exalted and the Greatest. Gives shapes, forms, complexions, features and their balance to the fetus in mothers’ wombs, just the way He wills. He is the One Who forgives sins, accepts repentance. He wields His punishment and His Wrath. His grasp is severe and no one can release oneself from it. If He wills He can enlarge the insignificant, and shrink the vastness into insignificance. With His will He can give honor to the low and bring down the honored to dishonor. He can guide anyone He wills and leave astray anyone He wills. He can give closeness to His Presence, as well as curse anyone He wills. He can bestow anything He wills or remove anything He wills from anyone. Whatever He does is Absolute Justice, He is free from all victimizing and oppressing. He is the Most High and the Most Majestic, He encompasses everything and nothing can encompass Him. Harming and Protecting is in His Power only. Provides succour to the oppressed and avenges against the oppressor. Nothing happens without His Will and Determination. He is pleased with those who do good and displeased with those who practice evil. It is His Infinite Mercy that He does not command us to perform what is beyond our capability. It is not binding upon Allah ‘Azza Wa Jal to reward or to punish or to be pleasing or to do anything which is good for a person. He is bound by nothing. He is the Sole Owner, completely Independent He does whatever is His Will, He commands whatever He Wills. He has promised that He will allow all Muslims to enter His Paradise and out of His Absolute Justice consign non-believers to Hell Fire. His promises do not change. He has promised that apart from Kufr (disbelief) He will pardon all minor and major sins of anyone He wills.
  • Every act of His is full of Wisdom, whether we know His Wisdom, comprehend it or not. If He wills, eyes could hear, ears could see, water could burn and fire quench the thirst. When His friend Hadrat Ibraaheem Khaleelullah was thrown in the fire by Nimrood, He ordered the fire to cool down and be safe for His friend . All fires of the world cooled down. If the words “Salaama” (safe) was not used by Him, their coldness could have harmed His friend .To be continued, “Beliefs concerning Prophethood and Messengerhood” will be discussed in our next issue Inshaallah Ta’la

VIRTUES OF THE MONTH Jamadee-uth-Thaani

In the book Fadaail ush Shuhoor Hadrat Akhtab bin Hisaan has narrated that Hadrat Aboo Bakr Siddeeq  used to perform, in its first night, 12 Raka’ah Nafl salaat without specifically reciting any Soorah after Soorah Al Faatihah.

It is also mentioned in the same book that in the last 10 days of Jamaadee uth Thaanee, our beloved and most respected Sahaabah Kiraam, RidwaanAllaah Ta’alaa ‘Alaihim Ajma’een, used to fast, to greet the holy month of Rajab and during every night of these 10 days, they used to perform 20 Raka’ah Nafl Salaat.

VIRTUES OF SALAATUNNABI  (Durood)

My dearest and beloved readers under this heading you were introduced to an ‘Ibaadah (worship) which is a source of immense pleasure to our Lord, The Most Exalted Creator. This ‘Ibaadah is the recitation of Salaatunnbi (Durood) upon His Beloved Hadrat Muhammad . This, we are informed by the One who loves Hadrat Muhammad is His occupation and the occupation of His honorable Angels. We have been commanded by Him in Whose Power our life and death is to occupy ourselves also with this ‘Ibaadah. More virtues of this ‘Ibaadah are enumerated for your benefit:~
Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said “Do not turn your homes into graveyards and do not celebrate upon my grave. However do send your Durood upon me, as your Durood reaches me (from) wherever you are”. (Sunan Abu Dawood, Masnad Imaam Ahmad Hanbal.)
Hadrat Umar Bin Khattaab  has narrated “Till such time as you send Durood upon your Nabee Kareem , your supplication (Dua) will be suspended between the heavens and the earth. It will not ascend even a little”. (Hadrat Abu Hurairah , Hadrat Abu Sa’eed Khudree  in Jaam’iat Tirmidhi collection)

Hadrat Abdur Rahmaan Bin ‘Auf , has narrated “that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  came out and I followed him . He then entered a date palm grove and performed a prolonged Sajdah (Prostration) till I became afraid that maybe Allah  has given him death. I was watching when he suddenly raised his blessed head and said “Abdur Rahmaan, what is the matter with you?” I explained my condition. He said: Jibreel  came and told me “May I not give you the good news that Allah ‘Azza Wa Jal proclaims to you that whoever recites Durood Shareef upon you, I say Durood upon him and whoever presents his Salaam (peace) to you I send My peace to him. (Masnad Imaam Ahmad Hanbal)
Hadrat Abdullah Bin Umrau  narrates that the one who sends one Durood upon the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad , Allah and His honorable Angels send Durood 70,000 times upon that person. (Masnad Imaam Ahmad Hanbal)
Hadrat Abdullah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  said: “Indeed Angels of Allah  roam around the earth and convey the Salaam (peace) which my ummah send to me.
(Sunan Nisaai and Sunan Daarami)

Warning
Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “That person’s nose may become dirty (by being rubbed on the ground) who does not send Durood upon me when my name is mentioned and may that person’s nose become dirty in whose life Ramadaanul Mubaarak arrives and leaves before he is forgiven and may that person’s nose become dirty in whose life his parents become old and (these parents) did not send him to Paradise. Hadrat Abdur Rahman  one of the narrators said that I think he said one of the parents becomes old. (At Tirmidhi)

Hadrat Abee Bin Ka’ale , narrates that it was the blessed habit of the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  that he used to wake up when 2/3 of the night passed away for his Salah and he  used to say “O people, do the dhikr of Allah, remember Allah, the moment of trembling has arrived and soon after this is the moment which will raise your hair. Death has arrived with its possessions, (with death will commence difficulties of the grave and the Awful happenings of the Day of Judgement). Hadrat Abee Bin Ka’ale , submitted respectfully “O Rasoolallah , I recite Durood upon you in abundance. Please inform me how much time (out of my occupation of other practices ) such as Dhikr, Dua etc. should I fix for myself for reciting Durood upon you ?” The Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  said: “As much as you want to”. I submitted respectfully “(should I fix) ¼? He said “As much as you want to. If you increase it , it will be better for you”. I submitted respectfully “(should I fix) ½? He said “As much as you want to”. If you increase it , it will be better for you”. I submitted respectfully “(should I fix) 2/3? He  said “As much as you want to”. If you increase it , it will be better for you”. I submitted respectfully “should I spend all of my time (Which is now occupied in dhikr, dua, etc.) (for reciting Durood upon you)?” He  said “This is enough for you and (this) will fulfill all your requirements of the Deen and Dunya and your sins will be removed from you”. This Hadeeth is Hasan. (At Tirmidhi)

My beloved Muslims, jewels of my eyes, what else can I add? The Holy Companions ( may Allah  be pleased with them all), knew and understood the full magnificence of this great ‘Ibaadah and spent their time accordingly. May Allah give us all the Taufeeq (put it in our hearts) to endear ourselves to the Lord of Mercy and His Beloved Hadrat Muhammad  by following their footsteps and the footsteps of His Honorable Aulia. Ameen. Ameen. again.
More Virtues of Durood Shareef on the way Inshaallah Ta’la in our next issue.

WARNING WARNING WARNING

The Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  said: “During my Ascension (Mi’raaj), in the seventh Heaven, I heard thunder and lightning over my head, and I saw people with their stomachs as large as houses between their hands; and inside their stomachs, snakes and scorpions were visible from the outside. I then asked who are these, Jibreel? and he replied ‘The consumers of interest’. (Ahmad)
Abu Bakr Siddeeq  said “The one who takes and the one who gives interest (Riba) will go to the Fire”

My beloved muslims will you not take heed now, before it is to late?

BEWARE: Many pension Programs including 401K, IRA, IRA/SEP, and other programs, Profit Sharing Programs are based upon Riba (interest). Have your pious nose up in the air and whenever, wherever you get a whiff of riba, turn away or if you are already involved GET OUT OF IT. Whatever the consequences here of getting out of it will be better than Hell Fire!
May Allah  give us His Fear. Ameen

VIRTUES OF SUNNAH – – – Virtues of Siwaak (using miswaak)

Beloved readers we hope and pray to Allah  that the virtues of the above Sunnah of the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  described in our previous issue hit home. There is a Hadeeth which is to the effect that during those times when Muslims abandon in general, the Sunnah of the Beloved of my soul Hadrat Muhammad , anyone who revives even one of his Sunnah would receive Thawaab (rewards) of 100 martyrs. Those of the jewels of my eyes who have not started using miswaak yet I hope will consider the above Hadeeth and hasten towards this simple act which will endear you to the Lord of The Universe and His Beloved Hadrat Muhammad .
Some more Ahadeeth are enumerated for your pleasure and consideration.

Hadrat Ibn Abbas  narrates that there are 10 characteristics of miswaak. Its use removes yellowness of the teeth, sharpens the eyesight, strengthens the gums, cleanses the mouth, pleases the angels, Allah  is pleased, it is the Itteba’ following) of the Sunnah, increases the Thawaab of Salaat, produces a healthy body. (Daaraqutni)
Hadrat ‘Allaamah Shurumbulaani (May Allah’s Mercy be upon him) in his book “Muraaqil Falaah Shareef” writes that those virtues of Siwaak that the Honorable Imaams quoted from Hadrat ‘Ali (Karramallaahu Wajhul Kareem), Hadrat ‘Abdullah Bin Abbas  and Hadrat Ataa  are as follows :~
1. Make using miswaak compulsory for yourself and do not neglect it. Be constant in its use because in it is the Pleasure of Allah .
2. Its use increases the Thawaab of Salaat 99 to 400 times more.
3. Constancy in its use makes your provision available to you easily and provides blessings upon it.

VIRTUES OF EVERYDAY D’UAS

When You Sight The New Moon

Hadrat Ibn Umar  narrates that when the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  sighted the moon of the first night he used to say:

Translation: Allah is the Greatest. Dearest Allah, raise this moon with tranquillity over us and with faith, and with peace and with Islam among us and put it in our hearts to perform deeds which You love and are pleased with. Our Lord and your Lord (O moon) is Allah. (Sunan Darami)

When You Find Lailatul Qadr
Hadrat Aayeshah Siddeeqah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  when he found the Lailatul Qadr, used to say:

Translation: O Allah You are forgiving and You love forgiving please forgive me.
(Tirmidhi, Nisaai, Ibn Maajah, Tarteeb Shareef Pg. 496)

Explanation: There is a night in Ramadaanul Mubarak which is full of blessings and to worship during that night is better than worship of 1,000 months. This is the Lailatul Qadr (The Night of Power). The one who missed the worship indeed lost many blessings. In Islamic Shariah, we are informed that this blessed night can be found during the odd nights of the last 10 days of the month of Ramadaanul Mubaarak. It is related in Bukhaari Shareef that this great night can be found on the 21st or 23rd or 25th or 27th or the 29th night of every Ramadaanul Mubaarak. One of the important signs of this night is that the sunlight of the next day turns pale. On this night Hadrat Jibreel Ameen descends from the Heavens and accompanying him is a chosen Jama’ah of angels who make Dua for the forgiveness for those muslims who are busy worshipping their Lord. Allah  accepts their D’ua and because of blessings of the worship of this night the future sins of the worshippers are also forgiven by the Lord of Mercy.

SOME ESSENTIAL ADVICE from – – –
Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali Mudda Zilluhu

  • To practice simplicity in food, clothing, abode, to be unattached with the Dunya and to become occupied and busy with the Dhikr of Allah  day and night is pure Islam not rahbaaniyyah (Monasticism)
  • May Allah Ta’ala out of His Beauty and Generosity forgive your sins Ameen. May He prevent you from dependence on anyone. Ameen. May He bring you close, very close to piety and keep evil far away from you. Ameen. May He give you pious children. Ameen. May He make all your difficulties easy. Ameen. May you receive the (invaluable) gift of the love for Allah  and His most Beloved Hadrat Muhammad . Ameen. May your end be good. Ameen May your Naza’ (throes of death) be easy. Ameen. May you be absolved from the tortures of the grave. Ameen. May your abode be the Paradise. Ameen.
  • Do not drink water when you are standing. Drink it in three sips. Do not eat lying down. Do not eat while roaming around in Bazaars or on streets. Drink Zam Zam water, standing.
  • Do not laugh loudly. Do not clap your hands. Do not mimic anyone. Do not make fun of anyone.
    To be continued Inshaallah Ta’la.

Too many of us have no interest in Islam.

Too many of those who have some interest in Islam too often try to fit Islam into their lives.

Only those Inshaallah Ta’la will achieve the peace, harmony, and tranquillity here and in Paradise, as promised by Allah Rabbul Izzah, who work hard to fit all of themselves into all of Islam.

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF FIQH AND SHARIAH

We shall continue by the Grace of Almighty Allah to provide the beautiful extracts from the great work “Manifestations Of The Stages Of Excellence In Worship” by our beloved, esteemed and highly revered Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali Muddazilluhu about the importance of getting educated in the matters of Fiqh and Shariah and the necessity to understandingly follow any one of the four great Imaams of all times.
“The Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “From the people of all times, the people of my time are better. Thereafter the ones after them and then the ones after them”. In this Hadeeth Shareef, 3 periods are mentioned. Scholars have explained that the first period is that of the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  and all his holy companions (May Allah be pleased with then all) lasting from the time of establishment of the Messengerhood of Hadrat Muhammad  to 110 Hijrah. The second period is from 110 Hijrah to 170 Hijrah. This is the period of the Tabi’een {those who saw and followed the Sahabah (Holy Companions – May Allah be pleased with them all)}. The third period is the one after 170 Hijrah and called the period of Taba’ Tabi’een (Those who saw and followed the Tabi’een). This period ends with the Taba’ Tabi’een. All the laws of the Shar’iah of the Deenul Islam that were researched, compiled, explained and published were the result of the efforts of our beloved elders of these three periods. These works and the pious Deeds of the Imaams of these three periods are the Hujjah (final arguments) of Islam, the way of life chosen by Almighty Allah”.

Note: from this humble servant of Allah and the humble pupil of Shaikh Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali Mudda Zilluhu :~ Anyone who disagrees with the above, is not paying attention to the above quoted Hadeeth of the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad . One other point to remember is that the Ulama and Imams of the third periods learned their knowledge of Quran, Hadeeth and Shar’iah from the Tabi’een and the Tabai’een (who were of the second period) learned this knowledge directly from the Sahabah (May Allah be pleased with them all) who learned everything about Islam from the Beloved of Allah and His Messenger Hadrat Muhammad , who learned all directly from Allah The Lord of The universe. For anyone now, 1417 years later on, to claim that they are going to discover from their research anything new to add to or subtract from the knowledge inherited by us from the BEST THREE PERIODS OF ALL TIMES (as described by the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad ) must seriously examine their motives and seek the protection of Allah. As for Ijtehad (striving to study problems and seeking a solution from the original sources of Shariah) it is necessary at all times to find solutions to modern problems in the light of already established laws of the Shar’iah. However to do this one has to be a Mujtahid (Please refer to our issue Vol. 1 No. 1 – Vol. 1 No. 2 – Vol. 1 No. 3) The conclusion is simple. It is not necessary to reinvent the wheel to fix a flat tire. End of Note.

“After the 3rd period, there have been many Imaams and Fuqaha. However they all distinctly followed the footsteps of their elders of the first 3 periods and trusting them completely considered following them necessary for their own guidance”. In the next issue Inshaallah Ta’la, we shall continue this translation which covers briefly all the 3 periods with regard to evolving the Fiqh Al Islam:

VIRTUES OF PURIFICATION (Tazkiatun Nafs) continued

My dear readers I hope you have Inshaallah Ta’la clearly understood that Allah  has established in a manner only The Almighty can establish that only those succeed in both the worlds who purify their “selves”. No one except the Messengers and Prophets of Allah (May Allah Ta’la’s peace be upon the all) is exempt from this. The Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has mentioned in a Hadeeth to the effect that all the children of Adam commit sins, no one is pure.

We shall by the grace of Almighty Allah, try to deal with sub topics such as what are the impurities (contaminants), where they are located and how can they be cleaned or healed.
For the purpose of clarity, the important point has to be made right at the beginning that it is the will of Allah  that there is no such thing as “Do it yourself” purification. Books and writings such as the present one can only provide introduction to and concise concepts about the subject matter. Evidence from the Quran and Sunnah can be produced for substantiation. However just like serious diseases such as Pneumonia, Tuberculosis etc. cannot be cured by reading books on medicine but only by handing oneself over to a competent physician, similarly fatal spiritual diseases which are more serious, cannot be healed by reading books. One must hand oneself over to a competent Shaikh who himself is free of such contamination and diseases. It is only by being in his presence, company, holding his hand and being guided by him that one can purify and attain success as defined in the Holy Quran. This aspect of the subject Inshaallah Ta’la will be discussed in full at an appropriate stage in our future issues with overwhelming evidence from the Quranul Majeed and the blessed practices (Sunnah) of the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad . For now we shall Inshaallah Ta’la present you with the concepts of this vital area of Islam. In the Holy Quran Allah  states that all children are born muslims. He also states that Islam is the Deenul Fitrah (Deen according to our “Real Nature”). We are therefore in our True Nature at birth. Since Islam means willing surrender and total submission to the Lord of The Universe, a child’s nature at birth is such that it is indeed programmed by our Creator (instincts) to submit to Him unconditionally. This nature at infancy is our pure self (Absolute purity belongs only to Allah , we are talking about human purity). We start our life on this earth therefore in such a way that we can truthfully say Islam was made for us and we for Islam. Allah Ta’la states in The Holy Quran that it is the parents (or whoever brings the children up) who turn them into Jews, Christians, Polytheists etc. It is now clear that those who bring the children up are the ones who help contaminate the child. Removing from our true nature, whatever does not belong there is the process of purification. Recapturing and going back to the infant innocence (our true nature) therefore should be the goal. It is only then that true and willing surrender and submission to the Lord of The Universe our Creator can be accomplished, by His Grace.
More to come Inshaallah in our next issue.

TRANSLATION OF THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED BOOK IN 5 VOLUMES “MAKSHOOFAT MANAZIL EHSAAN”.
“(MANIFESTATIONS OF THE STAGES OF EXCELLENCE IN WORSHIP)” continued

By Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat Ali Mudda Zilluhu

“Hadrat Ibn ‘Umar , narrates that the Beloved of Allah Hadrat Muhammad  put his blessed hand on my body and said “Live in this world as though you are a stranger (to it) or a traveller, who is passing by a road and consider yourself among the dead”. He then added ‘Umar () when you wake up in the morning do not talk to your heart about the evening. And if you are alive in the evening, do not give your heart news about the morning. Before your illness take something from your good health and before you die take something from your life, because O ‘Abdullah you do not know what your name will be tomorrow (Dead or Alive). Tirmidhi Shareef.
(Based upon this command of the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad )
In the silent but pleasant surroundings of the forest . . . . .

A Historical Promise of a Faqeer (one who stores nothing for the morrow

I, who am helpless, needy, sinful and full of shortcomings will devote forever my entire life that You have given me, and sacrifice everything You have made me the owner of, in the Da’wah and Tableegh of your Deenul Islam. I also promise that from this auspicious moment till death I will live in your Dunya as a traveller. A traveller has nothing with him except the clothes he is wearing a small bag containing essentials, which he can easily carry with him. Apart from these, a traveler cannot keep anything else with him. And I will consider myself among those who are dead in the graveyards. The one who is dead has no desires except that You may give him life again and that (this time around) he will spend his life in Your Worship!

By Your Grace, I swear by You that nothing of Your Dunya, or any (high) office, has any importance for me. Neither have I any desire left in my heart for anything except for You.
By Your Grace, nothing of Your Dunya has any value for me, no matter how attractive it may be. Except for You, Your faqeer does not ever pay any attention to any object of Your Dunya.
All this is from You  There is no power greater than Yours, the Most High in His Greatness. I can never ever thank you for this favor, even if I continue thanking you till the Day of Judgement.

No matter what anyone says, no slave (of yours) has any power over what he does, without Your Taufeeq (Your putting it in his heart). Every slave (of Yours) is bound by Your Will in every condition and is dependent upon Your Taufeeq.  Until someone receives the favor of Your Taufeeq for performing a deed, no slave (of Yours) can do any work of the Deen.  Every slave (of Yours) in every matter is needy of Your Taufeeq.

Our Task: (Is) To teach the slaves of Allah  the requirements of Allah’s Deenul Islam; to use all kinds of wisdom to persuade all towards the Deen. Whatever any one says (to us negatively) we are never to respond. We must walk our path without dependence upon approval or disapproval (Of others).

Please O Allah favor us with stability on this.
Hadrat Ibn Abbas  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad has said: There are two gifts (from Allah) about which people are unappreciative. These are good health and (availability of) time. (Bukhari)

Hadrat Mastoorad Bin Shadaad narrates: “I have heard the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  say. By Allah, compared to the Aakhirah (Hereafter) the similitude of the Dunya is like someone dips his finger into the river and sees what it has brought back with it (how much water adheres to it)”. (Muslim)

Hadrat Jaabir  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  passed by a little dead lamb, with small ears which were cut. Hadrat Muhammad asked “which one of you would buy this for one Dirham?” The Holy Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) responded “We would not like to buy it for any price (whatsoever)”. He  said: By Allah, this Dunya in His eyes is more disgraceful than this (little dead lamb) is in yours”. (Muslim)

Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “Dunya is a jail for a Mumin and Jannah for the Kaafir”. (Muslim)

Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “Annihilated is the slave of Dirham and Dinaar and shirt. If he is given these things he is happy and pleased. If these are not given, he is unhappy. May this slave be annihilated, debased and disgraced. When a thorn pierces his foot may no one remove it. There is good news for the slave who is ready holding the reigns of his horse to fight in the path of Allah . His hair is disheveled, his feet soiled. If he is assigned to patrol the army, he does it well. If he is ordered to follow behind the army, he follows behind diligently. If he wants to join the gathering of people, he is not given permission (As he does not possess worldly respectability) and if he recommends anyone, his recommendation is not accepted (because he is held in low esteem among the people) (Bukhaaree)

Hadrat Umrau Bin ‘Auf  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “I swear by Allah, I am not afraid of your poverty and destitution, but I am afraid that the world would be made expansive for you as it was made expansive for those who were before you. Then you will prefer the world (You would get caught in the pleasures of the world) the way the people before you preferred it and this world will annihilate you as it annihilated them” (Bukhaaree, Muslim)

Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: “O Allah, please bestow upon the progeny of Muhammad () (People of his  household and children) enough provision to keep them alive and preserve the energy of their bodies”. In another narration it is mentioned: “Please bestow enough provision to keep them alive”. (Bukhaaree, Muslim)

Hadrat Abu Hurairah  narrates that the Beloved of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad  has said: The slave of (Allah ) keeps saying “My money, my money” (keeps feeling proud of his money) and the truth is that from his money, what is his are three things. Firstly, what he ate and finished, secondly what he wore till it was torn and thirdly what he spent in the way of Allah and accumulated that treasure for the Aakhirah (the Hereafter). Whatever remains after these three things (are consumed) is what will be left for others, when he goes. (Muslim)

TransliterationAllaahumma Salli ‘alaa Sayyidinaa Muhammadiun Wa Aalihee Wa’itratihee be ‘Adadi Kulli Ma’ loomillaka Astaghfirullaa Halladhi La ilaahaa illaa huwal Hayyul Qayyoomu Wa Atoobu ilaih. Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom

Translation

Dear Allaah, bestow Your Choicest Blessings upon our Master Muhammad and upon his extended family and his progeny according to the number of all things known to You. I seek the forgiveness of the One but for whom there is no God, The Truly and Perfectly Alive and The Self Sustained and I turn to Him with repentance. O The Truly and Perfectly Alive O The Self Sustained

This is the Salaatunnabi (Durood) recited by Hadrat Sayyidinaa UWAIS QARNEE, and the inherited Durood Shareef of the Honorable chain of Quadariyyah; Mujaddidiyyah; Ghafooriyyah; Raheemiyyah; Kareemiyyah and Ameeriyyah.
It is highly recommended that those who seek the love and closeness to the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad make it mandatory upon themselves to recite this Durood Shareef according to their capacity and the time they have available. For instance at least 11 times after each Salaat. It should be recited more frequently after Ishaa, Tahajjud and Fajr. 100,300,500 times or even more. Remember though, once the frequency is fixed, be steadfast upon it!
