By the Grace of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) we now have a web page “The Truth About Islaam” for non believers. You may use it for your own Da’wah purposes or recommend to your non muslim acquaintances. The main page is at https://daar-ul-ehsaan.org/Truth

BACK TO BASICS
The Account of Kufr and Eemaan

Eemaan is to attest and verify with a sincere heart all those matters that are the essentials of the Deen. To deny even one essential of the Deen is Kufr although all the other essentials are attested. Essentials of the Deen are those issues which the general Muslim Ummah are knowledgeable about; such as the Oneness of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), the prophethood of the prophets, the Jannah and the Naar (hell fire), the Day of Judgment etc. etc. Beliefs such as Prophet Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is the last Prophet after whom there will be no more prophets. General people of the Ummah means those who are not counted among the ‘Ulamaa (scholars of Islaam) but who have benefited from the company of the ‘Ulamaa and have an interest in the issues of Islaamic knowledge; and not those who live at the borders of villages, in jungles and hills, who cannot even pronounce the Kalimah correctly. The ignorance of such people about the essentials of the Deen does not make those issues unnecessary. However, for them to be Muslims it is necessary that they do not deny the essentials of the Deen and they hold on to the belief that whatever comprises Islaam is Haq (the truth) and have faith in all of it in totality.
‘Aqeedah (article of faith): To consider Haraam anything that is proven to be categorically Halaal and anything that is categorically proven to be Haraam to consider it Halaal is Kufr when the order is from among the essentials of the Deen or when the denier is fully aware of the order.
‘Aqeedah: There is no connection between Eemaan and Kufr. A person is either a Muslim or a Kaafir, there is no third condition such as a person not being a Muslim and also not a Kaafir (or being a Muslim and also a Kaafir).
To claim Islaam with the tongue of hypocrisy and deny Islaam from the heart is also clearly Kufr; as a matter of fact for such people is the lowest and the worst level of Hell. At the time of the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) some people with such characteristic became known by the title “Munaafiqeen” (Hypocrites) as categorized in the Holy Quraan and each one of them was identified through the vast knowledge of the Wahee by the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes). In this day and age, it is not possible for any one to name any one definitely as a Munaafiq as the condition and state hidden in the heart of people is known only to Allaah . Any one who claims to be a Muslim will be accepted as a Muslim by us. It is seen however that there are those who claim to be Muslims yet openly stay away from even the basic duties of the Pillars of Islaam or they commit major sins openly. These will be termed Faasiqeen and Faajireen (the transgressors and the rebels). There are others who claim to be Muslims yet deny the essential canons of the Deen. This phenomenon could be categorized as a branch of Nifaaq (hypocrisy). Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) knows best.
‘Aqeedah: To consider any other than Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) to be self existent or worthy of worship that is to include any other than Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) in His Divinity (Godhead) is Shirk (polytheism) and the worst form of Kufr.
‘Aqeedah: Those who commit major sins are Muslims. They can be forgiven by the Grace of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) or forgiven also by the Grace of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) through the intercession of the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) or through the intercession of the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) after receiving punishment in the Hell. Once in Paradise they would remain there forever.
To offer du’aa of Maghfirah (salvation) for a kaafir after his/her death or to use words such as marhoom (recipient of Divine mercy) or maghfoor (recipient of salvation) for a dead murtad (apostate) is totally prohibited. Any one who does this will also enter Kufr.
‘Aqeedah:
To know Muslim as a Muslim and to know kaafir as a kaafir is one of the essentials of the Deen. It is not possible to know with certitude whether any particular person died in a state of eemaan or Kufr till such time as the state of his end is proven by daleel Shara’ee (proof according to Islaamic laws). However it should not happen that when a person has most certainly committed kufr, his/her kufr should be doubted because to have doubts about matters of kufr entails entering kufr. It is important to realize that for the state of the death of a person the Qiyaamah will be the Divine law and for the apparent and visible the criterion will be the Islaamic ordnance. To understand this matter thoroughly: if a Jewish, Christian or an idolater dies, it cannot be said with certitude in what state he/she died. However it is the command of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) and the holy Prophet of Allaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) to consider him/her a kaafir. As such all our dealings with him/her during his/her life and death will be as we have been commanded to deal with the kuffaar. For example, day to day interaction, marriage, funeral prayers, burial etc. etc. When he/she commits acts of kufr we are duty bound to consider him/her kaafir. The knowledge of the end is with Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes). Similarly, a person who is apparently a Muslim and his/her sayings and doings are not against true eemaan, it is fard that we should accept him/her as a Muslim although we do not know his/her end either.

Note: By the Grace of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) and the blessings of our Shaikh Hadrat Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali QaddasAllaahu Ta’alaa Sirruhul ‘Azeez, we have come to the end of the Topic “Back to Basics”. We sincerely believe that enough has been covered in this topic to be able to have the essential basic requirements of the Islaamic Beliefs, Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil ‘Aalameen.

Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah  has narrated that the beloved of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: The person who recites after every salaat “SubhaanAllaah” 33 times, “Alhamdulillaah” 33 times, “Allaahu Akbar” 33 times i.e. 99 times and to complete the recitation of 100, recites “Laa ilaaha illAllaah Wahdahoo Laa Shareeka Lahoo …..” his sins will be forgiven even if they are equal to the foam of a river; i.e. in a very large number. There is no god worthy of worship but Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), the only One, Who has no partners. All is His kingdom and  all praises are for Him and to Him belongs all power.

Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Zaid bin Thaabit  narrates that the beloved of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said: The person who recites after every Fard Salaat, “SubhaanAllaah” 100 times, “Allaahu Akbar” 100 times, “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” 100 times, “Alhamdu Lillaah” 100 times, his sins even though they may be more than the foam of an ocean, will be forgiven. An Nisaaee, Hasan Haseen, Tarteeb Shareef vol 1, page 163

YAA HAYYU YAA QAYYOOM

Narration: Hadrat ‘Alee Al Murtadaa KarramAllaah Wajh has narrated: “In the Holy War of Badr, while fighting I approached the beloved of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) and saw the Chief of all Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) creation, the Pride of all beings, the Leader of all the messengers and the Seal of all the Prophets newsas.gif (1028 bytes) had his blessed head in sajdah (prostration) and was reciting “Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom”. Then I left and rejoined the fighting. I came back again to his newsas.gif (1028 bytes) blessed presence and found him newsas.gif (1028 bytes) with his blessed head in sajdah, reciting “Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom” till such time as Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) gave him newsas.gif (1028 bytes) the good news of victory. Hasan Haseen. Tarteeb Shareef vol 1 page 165.

Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali, QaddasAllaahu Sirruhul ‘Azeez adds his note“Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom” is the Ismul ‘Aazam and is our patron / trainer as well as the helper of the blessed chain of our Tareeqat (mystic way of life).

SABEEL AR RASHAAD (THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS) . . . Continued

By Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali, QaddasAllaahu Ta’alaa Sirruhul ‘Azeez

Extract from his book Makshoofaat Manaazil Ehsaan” (Manifestations of the Stages of Excellence in Worship)

We have no feelings left in us. We do not have the perception and the sensitivity about how our listeners feel when we speak. How much respect do the listeners have in their hearts for the speaker? None! People have become tired of listening to us. We came into the arena of the Deen to provide freshness to the drooping plant of Islaam and we had entered the arena to commit our lives to keep Islaam alive and that we would leave no stone unturned in elevating the greatness and prestige of Islaam.
However, entangled by sectarianism, we could do nothing. We hurt the prestige of Islaam very badly and gave preference to our own greatness over Islaam and whatever work we did we kept in view only our personal gain. We gave no sacrifice for the Deen, (quite contrarily) for our own benefit, we sacrificed every thing of the Deen. What should have happened was that the Deen should have thrived although we had not survived; we should have fallen down and not allowed any part of the Deen to fall down; to keep the Deenalive we could have sacrificed our lives. We should have kept the Deen alive although we did not live. It would have been excellent luck had our life been sacrificed for the life of the Deen.

YAA HAYYU YAA QAYYOOM

We had come to the Deen with a passion for its service. However we could not be of any service to the Deen. Most positively, it was the Deen that served us greatly: it was only by using its name that we earned the Dunyaa (world). Had the name of the Deen not been in between the creation and us, no one would have even known us. Using the Deen as a cover, we earned a lot.
The Deen has graced our heads with the crown of honor. It is by using the name of the Deen that we earned that Dunyaa, with which the Deen is disgusted, about which there is no justification in the Deen i.e. to make money (using it). With such titles have we been honored that we are most certainly undeserving of them. Seeing us adorned with the cloak of the Deen, people have praised us no end. In other words, we have taken undeserved advantage from the Deen. This happened to us only so that we could take a warning and admonition from it, but we could not!
Not I
but the Prince of his Ummah, Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) himself stressed upon his Ummah about unity by saying:

Hadeeth Shareef: ” All the Mumins are like one single person. When his eye aches all the body aches and when he has a headache, the entire body feels its pain” Muslim.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Abee Moosaa narrates that the beloved of Allaah
NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said: ” A Muslim is like a house for a Muslim, that is all the Muslims are like a house: one part of the house strengthens the other. Saying this he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) entwined the fingers of one hand with the fingers of the other to show that this is how all Muslims are intertwined with each other”. Bukhaaree and Muslim.

We have to accept with the greatest of sadness that at present we Muslims are separated and far from each other. When we measure ourselves in the light of these Ahaadeeth,we shall have to admit that we are Muslims but we are certainly unworthy of being called Mumineen (true believers) because we are not knit as the closely intertwined fingers of the hands as described in the Ahaadeeth of the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) and nowadays far from being intertwined, distancing and spreading away has become our way.
May Allaah Tabaarak wa Ta’alaa, ‘Azza wa Jal, Dzul Jalaali wal Ikraam, by His favor and grace forgive those sins of ours because of which we have become repugnant toward and disgusted with each other and fill our hearts with love and affection for each other so that once again we may become as we were before: united.

YAA HAYYU YAA QAYYOOM . . . . . . . . AAMEEN

Every one in his school of thought is on the straight path. There is nothing which is not present in unity . . . pleasure is in there . . . honor is in there . . . power is in there . . . greatness is in there . . . nobility is in there . . . exaltedness is in there . . . help is in there . . . victory is in there, everything is in there and it is everything.

Allaah, O Rahmaan! Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom

We, all of us have only this Du’aa in Your Court that You may unite the entire Ummah of our bountiful master Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) on one center and Who else has the power to do this but You. Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom!

Laa ilaaha illaa Anta wa laa ilaaha Ghairuk

All the hearts of Your kingdom are within the Possession of Your power, under Your authority and subjugation: and You turn around the hearts whichever way You want; turn our hearts around once again and fill them with love for each other: true and lasting love.

Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom —- Aameen!          To be continued InshaAllaah Ta’alaa.

VIRTUES OF THE SUNNAH

Sunnah and Aadaab of Musaafihah (Hand Shake) and Mu’aanaqah (Embracing)
When two Muslim brothers meet, they should first exchange the Islaamic greetings of “Assalaamu ‘Alaikum – – – Wa’alaikumussalaam – – – and then they should shake hands. This is the Sunnah and the Sahaabah Kiraam RidwaanAllaah Ta’alaa ‘Ajma’een (The noble companions may Allaah Ta’alaa be pleased with them all) used to comply with thisSunnah at the time of meeting each other.
Hadeeth Shareef:
Hadrat Abul Khattaab  has narrated that he asked Hadrat Anas  ”Was hand shaking customary among the Sahaabah Kiraam of our noble master the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes)?” He responded “Yes.”

The beginning of hand shaking
Hadeeth Shareef:
Hadrat Anas  has said that when the inhabitants of Yemen entered the blessed presence of the Prince of Madeenah the Bounteous master, the holy Prophet the very kind and merciful newsas.gif (1028 bytes) he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: ” The people of Yemen have come to you and these are the first people who shook hands when they arrived.” Bukhaaree Shareef

Shaking of hands removes animosity and giving gifts to each other increases mutual love.
Hadeeth Shareef:

Hadrat ‘Ataa Khuraasaanee  has narrated that our noble master the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: “Shake hands with each other, as rancor is removed by this and give gifts to each other, there will be mutual love and animosity will be removed.” Mishkaat Shareef

Maghfirah (Salvation) is received by the hand shake
Hadeeth Shareef:
Hadrat Anas  has narrated that the Prince of Madeenah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said: ” When two Muslims met and held each other’s hands (shook hands), their right becomes incumbent upon Allaah Ta’alaa to bring forward their Du’aa (To accept it) and even before the hands are separated their Maghfirah will be done. And those people who gather together to do the Dzikr of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)and their intention is no other than to receive the pleasure of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)the caller from the heavens announces: stand up, you have received salvation and your sins have been converted to good deeds.” Imaam Ahmad Rahmatullaah ‘Alaih.

Sins fall away
Hadeeth Shareef:
The Prince of Madeenah
newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said: ” When a Muslim meets his Muslim brother and holds his hands (Shakes hands), the sins of both fall off just as the leaves of a dry tree fall off in a severe storm and their sins are forgiven even if they are equal to the foam of a sea.” AtTabaraanee

To do a complete Salaam
Hadeeth Shareef:
Hadrat Aboo Umaamah  has narrated that our bounteous and noble master, the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: “A complete ‘iyaadah (visiting) of the sick is to place a hand over his head and ask: ‘ How are you?’ and a complete tahiyyat (salutation) is also to shake hands.” At Tirmidzee.
Hadeeth Shareef:
When two friends meet each other and shake hands and recite Durood Shareef (Salaatun Nabee), before they separate the sins of both are forgiven.” At Targheeb wat Tarheeb.

Hadeeth Shareef:  When two Muslims shake each other’s hands, 70 virtues are distributed among them, (out of which) 69 are received by the one who shakes hands with the more cheerful countenance and happiness” Keemiyaae Sa’aadat.
My beloved readers, meeting each other as described in the above Ahaadeeth is among Akhlaaq ul Husnah (excellent manners). The most beloved of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said “If you cannot give Maal (gifts of money or goods) to make someone happy, please meet people with a cheerful countenance and excellent manners.” He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has also said: “To please a Muslim is better than Naf’l (voluntary) worship.”

VIRTUES OF Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

By Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali, QaddasAllaahu Ta’alaa Sirruhul ‘Azeez
Note

from this invisible dust under the feet of my beloved Shaikh. The above Aayah translates “In the name of Allaah the most Merciful the most Beneficent.” Allaah is the name of the essence of the Almighty Lord of the creation. No brain, mind or intelligence is capable of understanding the mystery of this essence and therefore is in a state of constant wonderment. The most beloved of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), the Prince of Madeenah Hadrat Sayyidinaa wa Maulaanaa Muhammad newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has advised his beloved Ummah to ponder instead upon His manifested attributes, the Asmaa ul Husnah (the most beautiful names). However, the hearts of purified believers find ecstasy in His True fondness, experience bliss in His remembrance and are always eager for His Sight. He, with all His Splendor and Majesty and Luminescence dwells in such hearts. We go back to the extracts from the book of our beloved Shaikh Rahmatullaah ‘Alaih, for the enlightenment of the Most Beautiful Names: ArRahmaan and ArRaheem.
Hadrat Mujaahid  has said that Ar Rahmaan means the One Who is merciful towards the people of the world and Ar Raheem means the One Who is merciful toward the people of Aakhirah (The Hereafter). It is mentioned in a du’aa “Yaa Rahmaan ad Dunyaa Yaa Raheem ul Aakhirah (O the Rahmaan toward the world O the Raheem of the Hereafter).
Hadrat Dahaaq  has said that Ar Rahmaan means the One Who is Merciful toward the dwellers of heavens (the angels). This is why they were kept in the heavens. Collars of worship grace their necks. They are far away (kept protected) from misfortunes and exempted from desires of food and drink and (all kinds of) needs and pleasures. The meaning of Ar Raheem is the One who is Merciful towards the people of the world. As a result of this, messengers were sent to them for their guidance and Books were provided to them.
Hadrat ‘Akramah  has said that Ar Rahmaan means the One Who is Merciful with one mercy and Ar Raheem means the One Who is Merciful with 100 mercies.
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah  has narrated that our master the Holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: “There are 100 (portions of) mercies of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) out of which one (portion) was sent to the earth and distributed among all the creation. By its virtue a person treats another with kindness, softness and affection. 99 (portions) of mercy Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has kept guarded for Himself which he will bestow upon His slaves on the Day of Judgment.
In another narration it is mentioned that the one (portion) of mercy which is sent to the earth, on the Day of Judgment, Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) will add 99 (portions) to it and will bestow the full 100 (portions) upon His slaves. Ar Rahmaan is that Entity, which will bestow when asked and Ar Raheem is the One Who is displeased when He is not asked!

Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Aboo Hurairah  narrates that our master the holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: ” Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) is displeased with the person who does not ask of Him.”
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat Abee bin Aboo Taalib  has narrated that the most honorable RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has said: Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has built a very beautiful and grand palace in Paradise which is named Daarun Noor. Everything of it is made of noor. It is suspended in the air with no passage in or out of it. Those present asked: “O RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) how will people climb up into it?” He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) replied: “They will be told to recite ‘Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.’ As soon as these pure Kalimaat (words) will come out of their mouths, they will fly in the air and reach it. Nuzhat ul Majaalis wa Muntakhab An Nafaais
Hadeeth Shareef: Hadrat ibn Mas’ood  has said that the most honorable RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: ” For the person who recites ‘Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem ’ Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) writes for him for every letter, rewards for 4000 pious deeds, removes 4000 sins and elevates his rank 4000 times.” Nuzhat ul Majaalis wa Muntakhab An Nafaais

VIRTUES OF ABSTAINING FROM MAJOR SINS Continued.
THE SECOND MAJOR SIN: MURDER
Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Most High says: And if anyone kills a believer deliberately, his recompense is Hell, to remain therein forever. And Allah’s anger will be upon him and His curse, and a great punishment will be prepared for him. (al-Nisa 4: 93)
(The servants of the Most-Merciful are, among others,) those who do not call upon any other god together with Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) , nor kill any person whom Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has prohibited (killing) except in (the course of) justice, nor commit fornication (or adultery) – and whoever does that will incur guilt; the punishment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection and he will remain in it forever, disgraced, excepting the one who repents and believes and acts righteously (al-Furqan 25: 68-70.)
On account of that (the killing of one of the descendants of Adam by his brother), we prescribed for the Children of Israel that if someone kills a person, unless it is (retaliation) for the murder of another or for spreading corruption on earth, it will be as if he had killed the whole of mankind. (Al-Maidah5:32 35).
When the girl who was buried (alive) is asked for what crime she was killed . . . (al-Takweer 81:8-9)
The Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: Avoid the seven noxious things, and he mentioned among them, “Killing one whom Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has declared inviolate without a just cause.”
A man asked Allaah’s Messenger newsas.gif (1028 bytes) what is the greatest sin in Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) sight, to which he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) replied, “That you should treat anything as equal to Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), when He has created you.” “What next?” he asked, to which the Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) replied, “That you should kill your child for fear that he may eat along with you.” “What next?” he asked, to which he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) replied, “That you should commit adultery with your neighbor’s wife.” And Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Most High has revealed words which verify this: “Those who do not invoke another god along with Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), or kill one whom Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has declared inviolate without a just cause, or commit fornication (or adultery).
The Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: “When two Muslims meet with their swords, the one who kills and the one who is killed will go to Hell.” When he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) was asked, “Messenger of Allaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes), That one was the killer. But what was wrong with the one who was killed?” He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) replied, “He was eager to kill his companion.” (Bukhari, Muslim and Ahmad ibn Hanbal).
In explaining the meaning of this tradition, Imam Abu Sulay-man (Yahya bin Ya‘mar says: “This is when the two Muslims are) not fighting each other for some legitimate cause, but rather for the sake of personal enmity or group partisanship, or for the sake of wealth or leadership or fame. However, if someone is fighting a rebellious people for a reason which makes fighting them necessary, or is fighting to defend his life or his family, he is not included in (the meaning of) this tradition in such a case, the fight is imposed on him by the attacker and he is forced to defend himself. In such instances, the tradition does not apply to the person who is fighting for a just cause, but it applies to the cases which we have mentioned above. And Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) knew best.”
Allah’s Messenger newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said, “You must never revert to infidelity after my death and cut off one another’s heads.”(1)
“A believer will continue to find ample scope in his religion as long as he does not kill anyone unlawfully.”(Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Nisai)
“Shedding of blood will be the first matter about which judgement will be given on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
“The passing away of the world would mean less to Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) than the murder of a believer.” (Nisai and Baihaqi).
The major sins are: “Associating other objects of worship with Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), murder, and deliberate perjury.” (Bukhari and Muslim).
“No life is taken unjustly without a portion of its blood being laid at the door of Adam’s  first son (Cain), because he was the first to introduce murder “(Bukhari and Muslim).
“If anyone kills a man who has made a covenant he will not experience the fragrance of Paradise, yet its odor can be experienced at a distance of forty year’s journey.” (Bukhari.)
Therefore, if this is the case for killing a man who has made a covenant, which means a Jew or a Christian who is a resident in Muslim lands (Dar-al-Islam). what is there to be said about the killing of a Muslim?
Allaah’s Messenger (SAW) said: “Beware! If anyone kills a man who has made a covenant, whose life is guaranteed by Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) and His Messenger, he has broken Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) guarantee, and will not experience the fragrance of the Garden, yet its odor can be experienced at a distance of fifty year’s journey.” (Tirmidhi.)
He also said: “If anyone helps in killing a Muslim to the extent of a word, he will meet Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) with ‘Despairing of Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) Mercy’ written on his forehead.”(Ahmad)
Mu‘awiyah  reported Allaah’s Messenger newsas.gif (1028 bytes) as saying: “Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) may forgive all the sins of a man, except in the case of one who dies a polytheist, or one who purposely kills a believer.” (Nisai and Hakim)

PURITY OF WATER IN DIFFERENT CASES

Water Fit for Ablutions

1. It is absolutely safe to perform ablutions with rain water and the water from the river, sea, canal, tank, spring, pump, well and tube-well, whether sweet or saltish; similarly, the dew and melted water of snow and hail is usable for purification purposes.
2. The water heated by burning dung, droppings, excrement, etc., can be used for all purification purposes.
3. If some water remained enclosed in a tank or depression or vessel for quite some days so that it changed in color or taste or odor, it would be pure and usable,
4. Water that collects in depressions in the jungles and other sparsely inhabited places, will be regarded as pure unless there is clear evidence to establish its impurity.
5. Water placed in large earthen vessels and water fountains etc. etc. for drinking purposes of general public is fit for ablutions, unless proved to be impure by clear evidence.
6. Water in which a young baby has put its hands, which may or may not be clean, is pure and usable.
7. Water stored by the non-Muslims is pure because human nature detests impurity in drinking water, unless, of course, there is something in the vessel to establish its impurity.
8. If something clean falls into water and changes it a little in color, taste or odor, provided it does not make it heavy and thick, the water is pure. Instance: Sand, saffron, soap, etc., falling into water and changing it a little in color will not render it unclean.
9. The public wells are clean unless it is established that a vessel or hand or foot lowered into the well was unclean.
10. If water changes in color or taste or odor, or in all three properties, by the falling of dry leaves, the water will be pure and usable.
11. If soap or leaves of trees or something else is boiled in water for cleaning or washing purposes and the water does not get thick and heavy, it is fit for ablutions, even if it has changed in all the three properties.
12. Water with which rice, clean vessels, vegetables, etc. have been washed, or in which a clean garment has been dipped is pure and fit for ablutions.
13. Water in which a living animal, except the pig and dog has been washed is pure, unless an impurity on the animal’s body or its saliva has got washed down in it; similarly the water in which an animal, except the pig and dog, has entered and dipped itself is pure unless its saliva or an impurity on its body has mixed up with the water; but if a horse, or an animal whose flesh is lawful, dips itself, the water is pure even if the saliva has fallen into it.
14. If a little milk has fallen into the water, which may or may not have changed its color, the water is pure and fit for ablutions, etc.
15. If running water is polluted with an impurity, the water will be pure after the effect of the impurity has disappeared.
16. Water in which a fly, mosquito, wasp, etc., or any insect without circulating blood, has fallen dead, is pure and usable,
17. Water in which a sea animal like the fish, crab, tortoise, frog, etc., has died, is pure and can be used without hesitation for purification purposes. If, however, it is the land frog having circulating blood, the water will be rendered impure.

KHUTBAH HAJJATUL WIDAA’ (SERMON OF THE HOLY PROPHET newsas.gif (1028 bytes) AT THE FAREWELL HAJJ). . . Continued With the commentary of Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali, QaddasAllaahu Sirruhul ‘Azeez
Our holy master Hadrat Muhammad RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) has also said to Hadrat Maulaa ‘Alee, KarramAllaahu Wajh “No one except myself and yourself is permitted to enter it in a state Janaabat (impurity resulting from intercourse), meaning to pass through inside of this Masjid) Narrator Hadrat Aboo Sa’eed  Tirmidzee. Our holy master newsas.gif (1028 bytes) had closed all the doors of all people (which had access to) the inside of Masjidun Nabawee, except the door of Hadrat ‘Alee He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) also said that a hypocrite does not have love for ‘Alee () and a Mumin does not have any grudge or enmity against ‘Alee (). Narrator Hadrat Ummi Salamah  . Ahmad, Tirmidzee. Our holy master newsas.gif (1028 bytes) also said: “The person who has abused ‘Alee (has abused me.” He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) further said: “’Alee () is from me and I am from ‘Alee (). No one should make any promise or an agreement on my behalf except myself or ‘Alee () on my behalf.” Narrator Habashee bin ‘Ibaadah. Ahmad, Tirmidzee.
There were close to 144,000 moths of the lamp of the Messengerhood (the honorable and holy companions of our holy master newsas.gif (1028 bytes) May Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) be pleased with them all) present at the occasion of the Khutbah of the Hajjatul Widaa’. As he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) continued to sermonize, waves of fervor traversed their veins and this was a result of the blessings of his perfect vision. He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) finished his Khutbah and said: “Those who are present here in this plain, should convey my message to those who are not present here and should always continue to convey these commands to people.” At this they (May Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) be pleased with them all) were so affected that after the completion of the duty of the Hajj, according to the address of our holy master newsas.gif (1028 bytes), they zealously became active in spreading the Deen of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) to all and sundry and left no stone unturned by becoming totally absorbed for their entire lives with full determination in the fulfillment of this work. Out of the 144,000 honorable and holy companions (may Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) be pleased with them all) only a few thousand graves can be found in Jannatul Baqee (The graveyard in Madeenah al Munawwarahwhere many honorable Sahaabah and Sahaabiyah are buried). The rest of them became Mahaajir ilAllaah (immigrants towards Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)) and wherever they went they gave their lives as distinguished martyrs while performing Tableegh (propagation) of Allaah’s Deen ul Islaam and were buried there.
May Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) give us also the taufeeq (Divine guidance) to tread the path of the Deen and perform its service with the same fervor and enthusiasm. Aameen. YAA HAYYU! YAA QAYYOOM!

IBLEES NAAMAH (RECORD OF THE DIALOGUE OF SAYYIDINAA WA MAULAANAA MUHAMMAD newsas.gif (1028 bytes) WITH IBLEES) … Continued

 QaddasAllaahu Sirruhul ‘Azeez
Extracts from “Makshoofaat Manaazil Ehsaan” (Manifestations of the Stages of Excellence in Worship) vol.4
Thereupon asked the RasoolAllaah: newsas.gif (1028 bytes) “What do you see are the traits of the people of the Fire?”
Replied the Iblees thus: ”Muhammad (newsas.gif (1028 bytes)), (they are), to commit shirk (create partners with Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)), to lie under oath, to lie, to deceive and be malicious, to break trusts, to do gheebah (back biting), to bear tales, to cheat and defraud, to slander, to indulge in self aggrandizement, to be arrogant, to adopt ignorance and misguidance, to boast, to misguide others, to procrastinate in performance of righteous deeds, to be rebellious against Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) , oppress, to coerce and hold sway over others, to default where obedience is obligatory in matters of worship, to abandon practice and expect to indulge in obscene behavior, to be jealous, to perform immoral deeds, to be disobedient to Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to be stingy, to reproach, to treat essential matters to be remembered with negligent forgetfulness, to lose hope in the mercy of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) in the Hereafter, and to be disappointed with the gifts of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) in this world, to be greedy, to hope for long life, to hoard money and riches in excess of one’s need by not giving to relatives and the needy, to be close hearted and to create shortage for others, to covet for more inspite of abundance of riches, to perform acts of worship to show off, to be jealous of someone’s position and to make efforts to bring him/her down from his/her status, to abandon the concern of the Hereafter and to be pleased with the worldly comforts, to break one’s closeness with relatives and to have no mercy for them, to make someone feel hopeless and unfortunate, to treat others harshly, and to restrict food and clothing inspite of having enough (money), to unjustifiably punish and to distrust, to deceive such as pretend illness, to treat others jokingly, to harm and create loss (for others), to cause a misfortune i.e. to give news of impending misfortune to frighten someone, to remain unclean, to act unknowingly in matters about which acquiring knowledge is essential, to feel happy at someone’s loss, to have enmity, to hold a grudge, to steal, to be hard hearted and merciless. However please know O Muhammad (newsas.gif (1028 bytes)) that Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) has not made these traits but for those people on whom His anger has descended; hence Allaah Ta’alaa will not forgive them.”
Thereupon asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes): “What then do you see are traits of the people of Jannah?
Replied the Iblees: “To acquire Eemaan upon Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to acquire knowledge and put it into practice, to exercise forbearance and tolerance, to do favor and forgive, to practice piety i.e. to distinguish between Halaal and Haraam, to always act honestly and to be modest, to be trustworthy, to be generous, to be courageous, to forgive those who make mistakes, to overlook the sins of others, after overlooking the sins of others not to commit those sins oneself, to advise and counsel true believers, to acquire wisdom, to have awareness about one’s own self (shortcomings), to be pleased with the predestined good and bad, to bow down to the commands of the sharee’ah, to trust in Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to be patient in all matters, to be grateful for all the gifts and blessings from Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to acquire humility and submissiveness, to hold humility and modesty in the heart, to hope for mercy and forgiveness from Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to have good expectations from people, to acquire fear (of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)) and piety, to struggle to achieve closeness (to Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)) through worship and submission, to be friendly with virtuous people and virtuous deeds, to spend one’s life in happiness and cheerfulness, to be loving and affectionate towards everyone, be universally benign and soft, to spend in the path of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes), to be just, to quickly differentiate between good and evil, to support and help in good deeds, to think and ponder upon all acts, to continue thinking till the end of all acts, to perform virtuous deeds, to treat everyone with magnanimity, to be generous and large hearted in providing food and clothing to one’s family and children, to acquire easiness in dealing with all, to be brave and courageous instead of being fearful, to be contented with whatever one has and not be covetous, to acquire piety and submissiveness. These things you have heard are the characteristics of the dwellers of Jannah.
Thereupon said the Bounteous Prophetnewsas.gif (1028 bytes) By all means truly what you have said I remember. Hence what has happened to you that you do not repent (doTaubah)?
Replied the Iblees: Muhammad (newsas.gif (1028 bytes)He (Aadamand you are the chosen of Allaah Ta’alaa. Do you give me the command to do the thing which Allaah Ta’alaa does not have in His plan. Hence Allaah Ta’alaa had commanded Aadam () that he should not eat from this tree and planned that he should eat that. ThereforeAadam (did eat from it and ordered me to prostrate myself to Aadam () and planned that I would not prostrate myself to Aadam () so I did not prostrate myself to Aadam (and if your Cherisher however wanted me to I would have prostrated myself to Aadam (). Allaah Ta’alaa created Jannah and considered the people, the Prophets and the scholars surely for the Paradise. Did not Allaah Ta’alaa send you the that if your Cherisher had not wanted, these people would never do what they did. AndAllaah Ta’alaa said (In the Holy Quraan, Soorah 35, Aayah 8):
“Is he then to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring so that he looks upon it as good (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allaah (NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)) leaves astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: For Allaah (NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes)) knows well all that they do.”
And He also said, (Soorah 5, Aayah 41) “. . . (If any one’s trial is intended by Allaah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allaah). For such it is not Allaah’s will to purify their hearts. . . . . . .”
And He also said, (Soorah 58, Aayah 10) “Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Shaitaan in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least except as Allaah permits; and on Allaah let the Believers put their trust.”
Hence what is my cure when Allaah Ta’alaa misguides me.
Thereupon asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) :
You give the information O Iblees, what is it that breaks your head?
Replied the Iblees:
To do Astaghfaar in abundance. (Please note this carefully my beloved readers and practice this unfailingly)
Asked the RasoolAllaah
newsas.gif (1028 bytes) : What is it that melts your body?
Replied the Iblees:
Galloping horses in the path of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) to fight the Kuffaar in the holy war.
Asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) :
What is it that disgraces your mouth?
Replied the Iblees:
The ones who call the Adzaan.
Asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) :
What is it that whips you?
Replied the Iblees:
Recitation of the Holy Quraan.
Asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) :
What is the thing that drags you down to the seventh stratum of the earth that is the lowest?
Replied the Iblees:
Kindness towards and maintaining good ties with close relatives and treating the parents with cheerfulness.
Asked the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) :
What is it that cooks your flesh?
Replied the Iblees:
The one who does Taubah (repents) from his sins.

VIRTUES OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF “ASMAA UL HUSNAH” (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES) . . . Continued
Extracts from the Book “The Most Beautiful Name” compiled by Hadrat Shaikh Tosu Bayrak al-Jerrahi al-Halveti

AL-BARI Image15.gif (3131 bytes)

He is the one who orders His creation with perfect harmony . . . not only each thing harmonious within itself, but everything in accordance with everything else. This infinite seeming universe works like a clock. All is for one and one is for all. See how everything in you is connected, working together, and how, when a part fails, all else is affected.
The functions of one and all depend upon each other. Try to see to it that this harmony that is in your nature is manifested in your life. Allaah al-Bari’ gave you intelligence to help you to know your Creator. He also gave you freedom of will and choice so that you may choose the right over the wrong. But if you use your will to opt for the wrong, and your mind to deny the existence of the Creator, then you will be attempting to destroy the universal harmony; you will end up destroying yourself.

AL-MUSAWWIR Image16.gif (2870 bytes)

The perfect artist who gives everything the most unique and beautiful form is al-Musawwir. He is the One Who, without using any model, shapes everything in the most perfect shape. No two things are the same . . . look at your fingerprints. Each and every creation is a choice creation, an expression of Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) infinite beneficence and wisdom.
These three beautiful names of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) the Creator, the Maker of Perfect Harmony, the Shaper of Unique Beauty are the attributes of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) that are manifested in the nearest and liveliest way in man. Man makes, builds, shapes many beautiful and useful things manifesting these attributes in himself . . . but he misjudges.
The artist says that he “creates” beauty. The engineer “invents” a flying machine. They think that it is they who do this. They even forget the other men who might claim that they “created” the paint and the brush, and the sciences of geometry, physics, and mathematics, without whose “creation” their “creation” could not have been possible. They forget about the sources that produced the materials for that “creation.”
Who created the mind, the eyes, and the hands that put all this together? That which man makes depends on many conditions, materials and helpers. Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) creative act does not depend on any model, material, time, tool, helper, or anything else. When He creates, He says Kun, ”Be!” and a whole universe becomes. Allaah’s NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) treasure is between two letters, “K” and “N” – – – or between “B” and “E.” What man must do, instead of claiming to be a “creator,” is to try to see the divine power of creativity. He should try to lead others who seek to find Allaah al-Khaliq, al-Bari’, al-Musawwir, and help them to find Him through His creative manifestations.

Sayyiduna Ajiru newsas.gif (1028 bytes)(Our Leader, the Refuge Giver) newsas.gif (1028 bytes) ajiru.gif (4082 bytes)

Hadrat Abu Murra  who was the freed slave of ‘Uqail Abu Talib narrates that Umm Hani bint Abu Talib  told him that in the year of the conquest of Makkah two people from the Banu Makhzum fled to her seeking refuge, which she gave them. She said: “Then Ali  (my brother) entered and said: ‘I am going to kill them.’
“When I heard this, I went to the Almighty Allah’s Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) . At the time he way staying somewhere in upper Makkah. When the Almighty Allaah’s Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) saw me, he welcomed me and asked: ‘What has brought you here?’
“I replied: ‘O Prophet of Allah the Almighty newsas.gif (1028 bytes)! I have given shelter to those two men from the family of my in-laws, but (my brother) ‘Ali  wants to kill them.’
“The Almighty Allaah’s Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) said: O Umm , we have given refuge to those to whom you have given refuge (i.e. we approve of your action).’
“Then he got up to take a bath while Fatima  his beloved daughter, screened him off for privacy. Then the Almighty Allaah’s Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) wrapped himself in a sheet and offered eight Rak’at of the Doha Prayer (Chast; Sunshine Prayer).” (Tarikh Ibn Kathir V4, P300)

Sayyiduna Uhadu newsas.gif (1028 bytes)(Our Leader, the Unique) newsas.gif (1028 bytes) ahudo.gif (2375 bytes)

This name occurs in Book V of the Torah. In the Torah the letter Alif before Dal is missing since the phonetics of the letter Ha covers for the long vowel missing. It is thus read elongated. The word thus constructed in their interpretation means ‘one’ (Wahid). His meaning, (the one and only, i.e. unique), is correct in many respects, such as the following:
He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is the Seal of Prophets and the last of all Prophets.
He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is unique in his leadership.
He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is unique because he is blessed by Allah the Almighty with the most complete of all religious laws, the Shari’a of Islam.
He newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is unique because Allah the Almighty has granted him the highest qualities with the regard to instructions of his Religion (Din) as well as other weighty matters not directly connected with religion, such as intercession for everyone, possession of the cistern of Kauthar (in Paradise) and the loftiest status called Maqam-al-Mahmud. – (Subul Al-Huda V1, P520)

Al-Shaikh  says: “The Arabic word Uhad beginning with a Hamza with the short vowel damma (u) on it is in altered form equivalent to the meaning ‘one, one’. It is not unlikely that the name of the Holy Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes) in the Torah might have appeared in the form which is equivalent to its altered form in Arabic. The reason for equating it with the repeated form Wahid Wahid (one, one) is that he newsas.gif (1028 bytes) is unique in various respects.

From Wahid the equivalent form Uhad is used in order to indicate its meaning in concise form. It is always better to use a synonym that is concise since it avoids unnecessary repetition. The name Uhad is among those that Allah the Almighty has chosen for His Beloved Prophet newsas.gif (1028 bytes). – (Subul Al-Huda V1, P520/521)

TRANSLATION OF THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED BOOK IN 5 VOLUMES “MAKSHOFAAT MANAAZIL – EHSAAN”
(Manifestations of the stages of Excellence in Worship) . . . Continued
By Hadrat Shaikh Abu Anees Muhammad Barkat ‘Ali, QaddasAllaahu Ta’alaa Sirruhul ‘Azeez

The Shaitaan at all times, lies in wait and ambush for all human beings, ready to terrorize and destroys anyone in the manner they can be destroyed. The weapons of the Iblees cannot be understood by all. The Shaitaan has deceived every one in every arena and has remained in pursuit of everyone at all times. He has never withdrawn, not even for a moment. The Shaitaan is the counselor of your Nafs (the ego). He keeps teaching (the ego) all kinds of things and the nafs gets everything it wants done and to the best of its ability, does not accept even one thing from you neither does it do anything according to your will. May Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) remove you from this struggle and guide you to the straight path and with His favor and grace keep you travelling upon it all your life. This is my Du’aa.

Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom

You will meet people with different ways of thinking and you will have to give answers to all kinds of questions. You should give answers to all questions according to the Quraan ul Kareem and the Sunnah of the RasoolAllaah newsas.gif (1028 bytes) in a tolerant manner and never become incensed at any question nor enter into lengthy arguments about any matter.
The commandments and our ‘Aqaaid (doctrines) are simple, understandable to common people and clear. Do not give them twist (complicate) them. What you do not know, say clearly ” I do not know “.

Do not argue about controversial matters. Do not oppose anyone’s ‘Aqeedah (doctrine). May Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) bestow upon you the understanding of the Deen.Present your ‘Aqeedah in such a manner that the audience will have no option but to accept it. If during your presentation any one abuses or reproaches you, act patiently (with) Subr ul Jameel (graceful patience) (in which there is not even a shade of complaint). Remain silent and do not respond nor let it develop into a slanging match. There is a saying in our country: “Ik chup sau noon haraundi ay” (One silence defeats a hundred people). Those who carry out the Tableegh of theDeen ul Islaam, destroy their Nafs at every word. They never get incensed. Neither do they feel hurt at anything any one says.
Be vigilant that no word spoken by your tongue may hurt any one’s feelings. Use forbearance in every matter. Your patience will be the custodian of your successInshaAllaah Ta’alaa Al’Azeez.
You have come out to proclaim to the slaves of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) the commandments of Allaah’s Deen ul Islaam and not to fight and not for a trial of strength with each other.

Even if some one were to push you out of the Masjid there should be no frown on your forehead. In all conditions remain with your Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) You know Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) is the Rabbul ‘Aalameen (The Lord of the Universe), Ahkam ul Haakimeen (The Ruler of all the rulers), Qawiyyul ‘Azeez (The Mighty and Victorious), Ahadus Samad (The One and Only, without any needs, satisfier of all needs of all the needy), the Owner of all things and the Creator of all things, He has power over everything and He is your biggest Muhsin (Benefactor) and Murabbee (Patronizer). In the Presence of Allaah Tabaarak wa Ta’alaa, ‘Azza wa Jal, Dzul Jalaali wal Ikraam, your speaking is insolence, contrivance is hypocrisy and (your) existence clear Shirk (polytheism).

Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom

You should be silent in the Presence of Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) and hand over all your affairs to Allaah NEWSUBHANA2.gif (1260 bytes) only and always remain in a state as if no one has said anything (to you).
And this determination, firmness and resolution of yours in this matter is proof of your complete success.

Transliteration: ” Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom Birahmatika Astagheethu Aslih lee shani Kullahu wa laa Takilnee ilaa Nafsee Tarfatu ‘Ainin Ameen.”
Translation: “O the Truly and Perfectly Alive, O the Self-Existent please help with Your Grace, improve my condition completely and do not give success to my nafs (for You this is possible) in a twinkling of the eye.

The following are some fundamental teachings explained, for your careful consideration and practice. Give them your deliberation and reflection and mold your life according to them. Your manner of living and doing, your speech and action, in brief, your entire life should be according to the Deen of Islaam. May Allaah Tabaarak wa Ta’alaa bestow upon you the blessing of practicing according to your Ilm (knowledge). Aameen.

Allaah Tabaarak wa Ta’alaa
has proclaimed:

1. Transliteration: “Innad Deena ‘IndAllaahil Islaamu” Aali ‘Imraan, Aayah 19
Translation: ”Indeed according to Allaah the only Deen is Islaam“.
2. Transliteration: “Famain Yuridillaahu ain Yahdiahu Yashrah Sadrahul Islaami” Al An’aam, Aayah 125
Translation: ”Those whom Allaah wills to guide He opens their breasts to Islaam

Salaatunnabi (Durood) recited by Hadrat Sayyidinaa UWAIS QARNEE

TransliterationAllaahumma Salli ‘alaa Sayyidinaa Muhammadiun Wa Aalihee Wa’itratihee be ‘Adadi Kulli Ma’ loomillaka Astaghfirullaa Halladhi La ilaahaa illaa huwal Hayyul Qayyoomu Wa Atoobu ilaih. Yaa Hayyu Yaa QayyoomTranslation

Dear Allaah, bestow Your Choicest Blessings upon our Master Muhammad and upon his extended family and his progeny according to the number of all things known to You. I seek the forgiveness of the One but for whom there is no God, The Truly and Perfectly Alive and The Self Sustained and I turn to Him with repentance. O The Truly and Perfectly Alive O The Self Sustained

This is the Salaatunnabi (Durood) recited by Hadrat Sayyidinaa UWAIS QARNEE , and the inherited Durood Shareef of the Honorable chain of Quadariyyah; Mujaddidiyyah; Ghafooriyyah; Raheemiyyah; Kareemiyyah and Ameeriyyah.
It is highly recommended that those who seek the love and closeness to the Beloved of Allaah, Hadrat Muhammad make it mandatory upon themselves to recite this Durood Shareef according to their capacity and the time they have available. For instance at least 11 times after each Salaat. It should be recited more frequently after Ishaa, Tahajjud and Fajr. 100,300,500 times or even more. Remember though, once the frequency is fixed, be steadfast upon it!
